Normal female BCI?

Visahari Jul 22, 2004 05:03 PM

Howdey everyone,

I have recently aquired this female boa from a friend of mine. She is BCI, but her patterning is certainly different than any other BCI i have seen. I dare not to assume anything special about her, so i thought i would see what the forum thought. I do have more and better pictures of her, but i can't seem to figure out how to delete some of my old pictures on my kingsnake.com photo gallery account to make room for any new additional pictures; if someone could shine some light on this too i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Matt

I thought her pattern looks a wee bit arabesque, but only towards her cranial end. The caudal end looks more like a purivian. But her cranial structure is more BCI than BCC. She has high pink in her sides and really low patterning laterally as well.

That she is a Honduran boa, they don't quite seem to get that big but it is a she so...
Hondurans have a golden color to them and have a lot of pinks and reddish bellies, vary thin saddles without the Peruvian type peeks. The little reverse striping is another give away, thats how and where the orriginal tiger boas came from, she may have tiger gene in her or be a tiger sibling . Let me know if you want to breed her to this guy a male Honduran Super Tiger Boa.

Thats what I think.
