My picture of him that is!

Here's one the barkers posted a while back, different animal all together. The 'normal' next to it is the solid stripe suri I think.

WOW!!!!! I'll take a dozen of those. What a tail !!!!!

Biophiliacs Jul 22, 2004 08:06 PM

I've been waiting for someone to post these pictures. I guess Barker's don't have the male anymore, NERD does. Who has the other Suri? Does anyone know the future of this project? I have particular misgivings about the Suri Albino Crosses slithering around.. what a bunk endevor. But real Suri albinos are unreal. I hope it proves out incompatable with the other 2 BCI strains.. that'd be sweet justice. Thanks you guys for posting these pictures!!!

... that breeding an albino boa to a suriname redtail boa does not make the offspring to surinames.

You can do this a thousand times but they will never be true suriname boa c. constrictor.

Since we are talking about red, here is something that is also red.

I totally agree hermann, but that happens to be one of 2 (maybe 3) WC 100% Suriname Boas.

Keep up breeding those great boas hermann!

what ever happened to the true albino Guyanan redtail boa that was baught at the 2001 Daytona show?
Any hets yet?

ghireptiles Jul 22, 2004 10:43 PM

Actually this one is it but it was a Surinam. The animal was imported and then purchased by Mike Ellard of Burgundy Reptiles. He had it on display at the expo and after the show someone contacted him and purchased the animal. I saw it at Mikes when he got it and took a few pics and actually saw it quite a bit before it was sold and I can tell you this animal was 100% ELECTRIC! I don't know if anything came of it as far as breeding and I have heard the guy that bought it sold quite a bit of his collection so who know where it is these days. Glad I could find the pic for you guys!

I KNOW WHERE THIS ANIMAL IS BUT I GUESS (BLANK) IS LAYING LOW ABOUT IT. ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU'LL BE SEEING SOME HETS IN THE YEARS TO COME. SO START SAVING YOUR MONEY!!! BEFORE YOU ASK I DO NOT OWN THE ANIMAL BUT KNOW WHO DOES AND IF MOST OF YOU DON'T KNOW I GUESS THERES A REASON SO I WON'T OPEN MY BIG MOUTH. THERE ARE OTHERS THAT KNOW OTHER THAN ME BUT SINCE I'M THE ONE TALKING ABOUT IT ALL I CAN SAY IS, THE PROJECT IS UP AND RUNNING AND THERE WILL BE HETS IN THE SEMI NEAR FUTURE. HOPE THIS HELPS ALL YOU GUYS AND GIRLS THAT WANT IN ON THIS PROJECT. I KNOW I DO!!!!

Unless Will still has it..........nope don't know. It is a beautiful animal no matter where it is, although it would be much more beautiful if it was sitting in my room! LOL!

I see a lot of pictures that use different lighting techniques to "enhance" colors. But under so called "white light, as you did, true color is shown. Nice boa!

Yes, Will Slough still has it I believe.
I saw that animal within the first hour it had arrived.
Mario from Zoological Imports said Ellard just picked up a shipment and that something bad ass was in it.
I didnt imagine it would be a 100% pure albino suriname!!
Our mouths all dropped, simply stunning snake in person.
Tracy has one too she brought in from germany.

Are you gonna give us some teaser pleaser pics or what, I wouldn't mind drooling a bit. I remember seeing her at the 2001 Daytona show and I was IMPRESSED, I figured there would be something by now, so how about it. Tease us and please us we want to see what we need to start saving our money for.
