Again, it's been a while since I've been on here...but some more pics

I've been back in Tallahassee 3 months and this the first post back for me; seen and caught many a snake already; I'm on the road all over the state 10-15 work days a month doing wetlands delineation so I've been busy as hell.

Wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing, to include that Milksnake lovin', Badger fan lovin' punk Hillson was doing LOL

Here a a couple of pics of my Sulphur Yellow King I got from Krysko back in Nov. of '01; she's not yet three but has got some unusual and nice colors for a Florida King.

Hillson: The GA boy is becoming a total beast of a snake; I'll get some pics up of him in the next few days. I'm surprised at how much size he's put on in the last year. He's clearly the largest king I've personally owned.

But here's Tiger for starts:

With tongue out:

Showing the really yellow venter, especially the upper third:

Peace.

And what the heck does Shadowleaner mean? LOL
Anyway, glad to hear you're back in Tally. Hit the forest at all? Let me know if you'd like to get out there together sometime so we can find some kings.

Hi Sean,

Shadowleaner is just my e-mail address and it's based on my Honda Shadow motorcycle and the fact that I love to lean into curves on it, etc. Hey...I had to come up with something because if you've been off the site for more than a month or so you lose your handle. Trust me, it's hard as hell to keep coming up different names.

I've hit the forest a few times; the count in and around Tallahassee and ANF: 2 dead Easterns (one near Rich Bay Road going toward Havanna), one over in Jefferson County a bicycling friend told me about, 3 dead D'Backs, 2 D'Backs saved/taken off the road (both in ANF), 4 Gray Rats saved off the road (all in Wakulla County on two different days), one corn saved, one MONSTER corn found dead at the Alligator Point 4th of July fireworks display. It was 20 feet from my bike and wasn't there when I parked to walk to the beach to check out the show; some bozo rode off the side of the road to hit it. I've seen about 10 racers dead, at least that many on the job, garters and ribbons snagged off the road and taken to safety, 2 pygmies on the job, 4-5 cottomouths on the job not counting to 2 dead, a few ringnecks, and some watersnakes.

I work in and around wetlands 5-15 days a month from morning to night so I see quite a bit. I can't catch any on the job because of liability (I work for DEP) but I still enjoy seeing them.

I'd love to hit the forest when it starts to cool off a bit Sean. There are places with tin you've seen I'm sure and there's so much damm land that you can go forever. North of Tally is good too. Jefferson County has got some abandoned homes/trash piles near wetlands that I've already seen that will probably have some Easterns in the right weather...lately it's been so damm hot though.

Later.

No you don't. I didn't use mine for months and it was still active. Maybe Kingsnake changed that...I don't know. Either way, I guess we'll be expecting a new one in a month or two.

One near Havana? Get any pics? From what I've heard, they are very uncommon around there.

Let's do it!

If you know of places up there, let's check it out sometime. I found some sites NW of Tallahassee that look good too. ]

Very hot! Forget about flipping tin. Maybe it will be good in the fall?
