Breeding mice

well today i went to my local petco and purchased 4 mice, 2 males, 2 females and plan on breeding them. if anyone has any useful information or tips i would appreciate it. How long does it take for them to start breeding, how much pinkies on average?

Depending on the age of your mice and whether they were together in the store etc they could take no time at all or up to 2 months. Gestation is 21 days. I have litters of anywhere from 5 to 20. I would guess an average is 10 or 12

Tips: 1.4 to 1.6 is the normal ratio.
Make sure there's only 1 male. 2 will either kill eachother or the babies.

Other than that, let nature take it's course.

Sonya's right on the time. (she's an authority here) Depends on the age.
