i have 2 spectacled caiman, and want to find new foods for them, can someone tell me what the difference s between a salamander and a newt

salamanders prefer moist cool land over water, they have smoother skin... newts have bumpy skin and like the water more than the land and have a paddeled tail while sals have a more rounded tail. thats too bad if you use them as a food source for your caimen

is this on the level or an intentionally provocative question? - truth is there is no real difference between the two -its about the same as toads/frogs -but hey go ahead and feed them to the camen if you like - since many are highly toxic and there is no 'toxicity chart' i suggest you start out with 'orange belly newts' - in fact you should try one too.....

you can watch as your scaly friend starts foaming at the mouth like
an over-soap-loaded washing machine. Ha
