A customer stopped in to the pet store I work at and dropped off 11 Eastern Garter babies the snake I sold him gave birth too.
They were born earlier this morning, and look like they've already shed, but I can't tell. Some look like they just shed the head, and that's it.
Once they do shed fully, when and what should be fed to them? They are all about 4", 2 are deformed, 9 normal. I'd also say they are no more than an 1/8" of an inch thick...
Right now I have them all in a little kritter keeper on paper towels with a really shallow water dish... I have never kept Garters, just carpets and burms. Any other care these babies should have??
