My frog hasn't deficated (from what I can see) since I purchased it about a month ago. I know what it's supposed to look like because I've had one of these frogs before. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you think he made be compacted you can soak him in warm dechlorinated water. It is possible that he has nothing to pass at this time. I believe I've read somewhere (uncertain) that pac-man frogs can process all of the food at times leaving nothing to pass.
How long should I soak it for?

I think you could let the frog be in the water maybe 10-15 mins? You could make the water warm, not hot, I think that also helps.

She did it this morning, all on her own. Thanks anyway.

Mine will go a month w/o pooping, then just leave the biggest thing you can imagine. I swore it came from the cat instead! What's that about?

Pacmans should deficate a lot sooner. It should only take days after its meal if the temperature is where it should be. I have fed my pacmans when the temperature is cooler and they do take a lot longer to throw it back out. Thats why I don't let the temps get that cool, and if it does I don't feed them. I would suggest checking the temperature on your pacman. From experienc of keeping so many, and being able to watch so many react at the same time, I would say that pacmans do fine in cool temps for awhile, but I wouldnt feed them that much. They also do not grow as fast as when its warmer.

A friend of mine who catches and tends to some sort of lizard that grows behing our homes in a nearby lake says that he has to put all his lizards in warm water every morning so they can poop. He says that they will keep it inside them for warmth if it's too cold. Could this be the same with frogs?

His lizards don't poop when its cold because their metabolism slows down. Their body temperature needs to be at certain levels for it to function properly. Not that they can't digest food at slightly cooler temperatures, it just slows down. If it is too too cold their digestive system will stop working and food will rot inside them killing them. Thats why whenever you brumate or aestivate an animal you have to make sure their stomachs and entire digestive tract are empty.

What temp should they be at? Mine are kept around 76-78 degrees.
