Substrate-AGAIN

Wyndham Jul 23, 2004 06:24 AM

Okay I am trying to make my final decision and it sounds like I am leaning towards white beach sand-what does everyone honestly think of that?? I would like to change the tank this weekend becuase the whole cedar/cypress talk scared the Sh*t out of me.

Thanks

I wouldn't suggest beach sand for a leopard.
Mulch or Hay would be a more suitable choice. Hay would be the safest.

What is the exact name and can I get it from a Pet Store?

Maybe somebody else can come up with a packaged name for the above mentioned products but I buy Bermuda Hay by the bail ($13) at a feed store and Pine bark mulch by the yard ($4) at Home Depot.

Indoor leopards get Mulch with a hay hide and outdoor leopards get hay.
