dripper or water dish?

Whats the most popular with everyone? I have a dish, but the pet store uses the drippers, which seem maybe more natural and fresher.

just put an ice cube on the screen top once a day and let it drip on a flat rock. The collared will lap it up if it wants. I does stimulate them to drink rather than a water bowl and it reduces the chances of desease from bacteria in a water bowl.

I was doing the same with the ice cubes and my vet. told me to knock it off. He says the very cold water can mess with the lizard since the lizard is already very warm. I don't know how much of that is true, but I did stop it anyway.

I run a dripper and drip that into a shallow water bowl or over some rocks. Every time I start it up, they come a running.

by the time the ice warms to melting, and a single drop falls to the warm surface below, it's already VERY close to the ambient temp of the cage, and within SECONDS it will be the same temp as the surface it falls on!
If this the same vet that you mention above, you should get a new vet!
