Monitors as well anything else dont want minimums, they want to do what they can do with proper tools and options. Here this is a proper cage size for a single male Albig, 20 square kilometers, that way they can do what they need to do. They can be a monitor ,not a lizard stuck in a box. Seriously we do with what we can, and if we cant do it right dont do it. You want a realistic size and its a minumum 10ft long, 6ft high and 5 ft wide, it fits in a house, and can hold a few feet of dirt and give the animal some room for a proper temp gradient as well give him choices, by the way thats a decent minimum for large monitor that can get 7ft plus.
