Update on strange Pewter **PICS**

Marcel Poots Jul 23, 2004 01:21 PM

Right before it shed it looked like a decent dark colored corn

This pic is after the shed. Way too much red for my likings..

Based on these newer pics, I'd have to say that it doesn't appear to be a pewter at all, Marcel. I know it looked like one when it was first hatched, but it has way too much red/brown coloration to be pewter, in my opinion.

I'd say that is just a classic example of needing to wait for a few sheds before something truly be appreciated for what it is. Even then, it may take months or even years to fully comprenhend what some snakes are going to look like fully matured.

Nice shots of your snake!

I don't like the fact it is getting more and more red. It's definatly not looking like any Bloodred I have seen. I am still hoping it will stay grey on the sides. I like it nonetheless. So it is a keeper

Looks like your weird little pewter is turning into a weird little bloodred, and a great looking snake at that.

looks like a blood........

........

sorry........

cute....odd.......

I just hatched a little strange pewter....and 2 bloods and a blood with a white head........?.....odd too......

try for pics....but the one thing I hate worse than trying to take pics of corns is to try to get a pic of a baby corn...they move too much.....and jump all over the place.......

.......I really do need to try though....

good luck....nice pattern...lots of saddles...........
