if you feed that repcal cricket food to crickets, and nothing else, will that be fine, or are fruits and veggies needed too?

That seems fine, but at the very least I would still give the crickets either orange slices, potato slices, or moistened pellets. They need the hydration to live, and it also gives extra hydration to your lizard.

I just throw in the leftover veggies and stalks of the greens when I make my salads. That plus the orange/potato/pellets, and I don't even need to buy any gutload formulas. It makes use of what would otherwise be garbage, and the crickets thrive on it.
