Here is one in a series of four pics. Still having trouble posting more than one pic at a time, please advise on how to do this in the new format?
Thanks,
Gregg F.

Prat. I agree with you. You can't go wrong with a deppei deppei or deppei jani. You just have to wait a couple years for the Oohs and Aahs. Good luck

gofer May 15, 2003 02:32 PM

of deppei deppei this year, and probably a pair or two of jani. Well, I know i'm getting at least one more pair of deppei and two pairs of jani this year...who knows if i end up picking up a few more, lol. I agree with Terry, they are great snakes and you will love them!
Have a good one,

Gregg, that snake rules! Is that a deppei or jani or ??

There you go people. One of the killer things about pits. That head raised up and doing the hunting stare. My other snakes have never done that! Only my pits! It's like they are checking out all their surroundings. How awesome is that?

It's definately awesome. I wonder if this is a genetic trait with the pits, and other snakes like cobras. It looks cool and definately allows them to check out their surrondings better. Maybe this trait gives them an upper hand in survival by allowing them to better track prey and keep an eye on preditors.

Thanks for the great comments Billy, I am sure it helps with survival like NZ mentioned below. The animal in the pics is a deppei deppei, that came from Jason at ENVY last year.

Quality breeder stock and Quality person = Quality offspring. Pretty simple from our view point really. It takes alot of hard work and desire as alot of us know. Nice going Gregg. In order to post multiple pics on the same post you used to do it on the old forum format by putting multiple URL's of the images in the body of the message instead of the Image URL link below. Go to a couple posts that have put multiple pics in the post and click as though you are replying to the post. Look at their post you are replying to and the image URL's should be in the body section of the message. I hope that helps.

It does take a lot of hard work, and patience to work with new or possibly new projects. Years, man, talk about stressful. Thanks for the advice on posting multiple pics again, but i have been noticing that when i reply to these posts the old content is gone? Which makes it hard to reply to longer posts with several questions...i wasn't too worried about the new forums, but this sucks. I have two sites opened at the same time, one to reply and one to read the old posts, lol.
Have a good one Terry,
Gregg F.
