getting anotehr leo need good advice

hey ive had 2 leopard geckos in my past and they both have died but i dotn know why well i had a very nice setup cage very basic but good it was a hide box a log to climb on a water bowl and sand mayeb when i get it again should i include a humidity box with dampened moss and put some paper towels down for the ground until he is a good hunter and when he is older also mayeb getting a leo from a pet shop that dosent take care of it well could also be the reason any replies would be helpful

Don't use sand for anyone except adults...
And get a vet. Take any new leos to the vet for a check up and a fecal to make sure they are healthy when you get them.

I think you basically answered your own question. That is, use paper towels for your younger leo and then maybe switch to sand when he's older. Definitely supply a humid hide like you suggested; peat moss or damp paper towels work, but my leos seem more comfortable with the peat moss.

Before you get another leo, make sure you clean the tank and everything in it thoroughly with dishwasher soap. You can also boil/bake/bleach. This is so if your previous leos were sick, none of the pathogens will infect your new leo.
