how often do firebelly newts eat

it depends... i hand feed mine 2-3 small crickets a week. But they won't eat pellets, if yours will eat pellets feed the pellets daily w/ a cricket or other food item every few days.

I feed mine every other day, alternating between pellets & bloodworms.
