Question about behavior

mach5speedy433 Jul 24, 2004 12:31 PM

Hello

I have two leopard geckos and one is always out and the other just sits in her hutt all day. I have both females too. She doesn't come out at night either. I think that the other gecko might be territorial so the one that hides all the time is afraid to come out. I was thinking about moving her to her own tank for awhile so she can be by herself and maybe she'll become more social. Is this a goodi idea?

Ken

yes i think the best thing you can do right now is separate them cuz the other female is problably bullying the female that hides all the time.

Ken,
Each of my leos has his/her own enclosure. I've found that all thrive when they have their own space; "territory". It's easier to keep track of feed and shed patterns when they are separate, as well as general health observations. Just my experience. . .
