who told you to spray the whole tank? leos dont like their whole cage humid, just one of their dens, if it gets too moist ive herd RI problems can happen.
you should have two hides in the cage one dry (one the cool end) one moist on the hot end. to make a humid hide take youre hide box and a lid from a tupperware container put wet papertowels on the lid then set the hide ontop ofthat andthats how i make my hides.
hope this helps

Spraying the aquarium down works alright, but a humid hide is the best way to go in my opinion. With a humid hide, there is a nice damp area for your gecko to hang out in when it needs to, and as long as you keep it damp the chances of your gecko having shedding problems are as minimal as possible. I use disposable ziploc food containers. You can get them at a grocery store or WalMart for just a few bucks, and they are usually next to the aluminum foil and paper plates. Cut a hole in the lid big enough for your gecko to get in and out, and fill the bottom of the container with sterile soil. Spray the soil down so it is damp, but not soaking wet. Once your gecko figures out what it is, he will like it.
