Hi Tom
That was nice to hear. If she hasn`t anything inside her any more there is still a very good chance, that she can breed again. Allthough I have newer tried it on garters, I have on ratsnakes, but they need at least a year to get really fit again. Don`t try to breed her before next summer or even better isolate her til spring 2006.
I had better luck with mine. I really hope, she will add to your collection later
Best wishes
Søe

Tom,

That's good to hear she expelled the jelly beans. It is when they don't expel them is when that can pose a problem. How big is she?

Scott

PS Picture of the melanistic that produced your melanistic-she's a big girl too, around 3 feet and robust

As of yesterday there is one left stuck in her.Have you ever had this problem? If so what did you do about it?
I have a 3 foot cage and she touches both sides.I cant get an accurate measurement though.

That has happend to me, what you do is gently work the mass,
"massaging" it down the body to the cloaca. Once it gets to cloaca, gently push it out. If it is small, it should pop right out. Hope this helps.
