A couple of pics i took today...

while cleaning out my quarantine cages... this is my female boehmei.. This is the first time I've handled her since acquiring her, and must I say, she must weigh 1000% more than when I first got her in... She was wafer thin, and was basically just skin and bones. It's taken her a while to bulk up(4 months or so..), but she is doing excellent. Next week(hopefully), I'll build a more permanent home for her, once I sell my freckleds and blackheads..

She's going to get a nice, big 4'wide x 7' tall x 2' deep enclosure, similar to my other enclosures, only I am going to modify all of them as well(eventually). I will have her in here for a couple of months, and monitor her health, until introducing the male. I have to make sure she has a strong feeding responce off of tongs, otherwise that male, who's a goddamn glutton, will eat all of her food. We'll see how things go... I am in no rush to introduce the two.. patience is a virtue...

Cheers everybody, thanks for looking,

Bob

another shot of the female.. sorry for the crappy quality, but it's hard to keep your hand still while holding the animal in the other... This at least show's her gorgeous coloration...much more colorful than the male.. but the male's gorgeous in his own way...haha..

take care everyone,

bob

Very nice, I hope you have good luck when you decide to breed them.

Granted, that is a long term goal of mine, however, I am in no particular rush to do/try so. I am more concerned with each individuals' health first, breeding is next to last. I must say, she has come a long way, but there is much more barriers ahead of me/us..

Thanks for the kind words, have a great day...

All you have to do is, do what your doing. Get the animals, make sure they are healthy, make sure you have opposite sexes and feed them. Then you have to shoot them to stop them. I thought you understood that by now. Good luck FR
