You should try the "tree boa" forum but it is pretty quiet over there so I will try to answer some q's for you. For me, amazons are a breath of fresh air from some of the monotony I see elsewhere. Care is fairly easy but different from terrestrial snakes. They need some height with perches, some "cover" like fake plants, moss, etc. I use automatic misters but they should be misted atleast a couple times per week. Captive babies are usually very solid but always try to get established, feeding babies from legit keepers/breeders. My adults are a little nippy but all of my holdback babies produced here('02 and '03) are completely tame. Average length is 4-6' but they do not get thick and heavy so they remain very manageable.
