Hi

My rainbow boas are 9 months old now and the male is around 1 meter and the female a little smaller. at least i think the big 1 is the male haha. anyways im now feeding them 1 adult mice a week and when they are in shed cycle i dont feed them, i sometimes feed them a little mice i have spare extra, im wondering when ill be able to feed them little rats and how big are what you people call little rats, like how many weeks should it be old.

As far as I know breeders of feeders will vary some in how they catarorize their sizes. If you're feeding adult mice you may want to go to retired breeder mice first then to weanling rats.
Because an adult mouse can mean anything from a just kicked up to adult status to larger breeders it's difficult to say for certain what we've got in mind.

yea i usually feed them the biggest mice i can find. but i know what you are goaling at thanks

...When they are a meter in length they are ready for small 40 to 80 gram rats. A big retired breeder mouse weighs around 35 grams. Most young adult mice are around 10 to 15 grams.
