I don't know much about these critters except that they eat fish and small mammals. The point of this post is someone I talk to in Japan has found one for sell and can't seem to find much about them. I figured to ask here.
What all do these animals need for a happy and healthy life in captivity? Pretty much looking for a detailed caresheet.
He says the critter is eating and active and would love to add it to his small collection but is unwilling to purchase without good info. I like that about him.

Check out my article in Vivarium magazine, june/july 1999:38-40. It give basic information on them...
