How's everyone doing this year?

iluvblackfrancis Jul 25, 2004 01:45 PM

I haven't been here for a while, so I'm checking in again. How are everyone's geckos doing? I've gotten rid of all my geckos, and I've started with Burmese pythons, and will soon get some common boas. I'll hopefully get a small colony of geckos sometime down the road, but I'm not sure. I love the little guys, but I've had huge ant problems the last two years.

I get ant invasions almost every summer, but this year I discovered a ton of baby spiders had been helping me keep the ants away from my room. I thought it was pretty cool, so I went and bought myself a tarantula.

Glad to see you stop by. Everybody left, but you can find them on f a u n a.

Yeah, you're the first person I recognize. Spiders....ick, haha. I'm sort of arachnaphobic, in the scense that I'd literally rather die than willingly let a spider touch me, but I'm perfectly content with scorpians. I used vasaline around all my cages, but they ALWAYS find a way in. It's ridiculous. Ants don't bother mice and rats, especially since the rodent is eaten almost immediatly after I buy it. I hate ants.
