Dart Frog/Red Eyes. . .Safe or Not.

Has anyone kept dartfrogs with red eyed tree frogs successfully. I want to put some darts into my red eyes terr. probally some
D. ventricmaculatus, is this a wise choice or not, any and all feedback is welcome.

Wouldn't do it. Dart frogs stress very easy. Then they die. Dart frogs are really agressive despite thier size. I doubt they would hurt the red eye, But they wouldn't get used to it either.

I wouldn't recommend it at all. Biggest problem being the size difference vents are thumbnails therefore really small frogs and redeyes are not. You could very well end up with missing vents. I've successfully mixed frogs before, in large enclosures with lots of hides and considerations being made to the species but that's one match even I would avoid for several reasons.

Never mix. It can be, and in most cases is, cruel to the animals

I've maintained mixed species of frogs in exhibits at work for years but the vents are to small to house with red eyes. A large retf can consume a vent with little difficulty. If you are set on a tree frog with the darts try H. leucophyllata as it is about the right size and will eat the same food as the darts.
