These are Boa c. longicauda, born here late last night. Photos are from 6:30am... Mom did a greeat job with her first litter.

Wow your haveing a "Baby Boom" down there that's Great ! !I like the Breeding Program you got going on, with the (True Locality Boa's)to me alot of these (Boa Morph's Crossbred's and mixed and matched Boa's you see Breeder's working with today dont hold a candle to (Mother Natures Artwork)Locality Boa's they are the real Thing ! !Keep up the Good Work ! !And Thank's for the informative web-site !

First off those are beautiful. I saw some that looked really light, are some of they hypos?

Yes, a few seem to have less black than others but I wouldn't call them hypomelanistic. Color and pattern in longicauda are ontogenetic processes.. or in plain terms the way they look develops over time as they age.

The very best looking longicauda adults are black with gold or silver or even a blue tone to the face and upper body.. I'm not sure a hypo longtail would be much to look at, just another pale boa.
