My girl, Dru, is approximately 16 months old and until very recently had a healthy appetite for crickets, silkworms, locusts and vegetables. However, she has hardly eaten anything lately. I offer her some food and she looks at it, licks her lips but then firmly shuts her mouth. She does drink - I use a rabbit water bottle.
I am fairly certain she is not impacted because I don't feed her in the enclosure. She used to eat from her bowl or chase the prey across the room. The temps are good - above 110 in the basking spot and she has plenty of room to move into a cooler place if she requires.
I do bathe her regularly but she has never been the type to poo in the water. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time she pooed. And she used to be very regular - weekly at least.
Whenever it is sunny I take her out with me so she has plenty of exposure to natural sunglight - well, as much as you can in the UK! She has a UVB light in her enclosure.
Apart from not eating, everything else seems fine. She is alert and friendly. I wondered if she had reached sexual maturity and whether that had something to do with it. Any ideas please?
