Is it just me or .................................

Jamesman Jul 26, 2004 12:52 PM

I seem to be having problems getting my C/A boas to grow. They eat at best twice a month. Is this normal? I have about 15 of them that are like that. My adults eat just fine it's only the yearling's and newborns that's giving me problems. My ball pythons are putting on weight faster then them. This is driving me mad. Am I the only one with this problem?

Thanks,
James W. Arnold

Most C.A's I have do the same thing , what I have learned to do is offer them food at night, that is when they are naturally hunting for food, second I offer live hoppers or weaned, stuff that cannot harm the sanke if they choose not to eat, then I just throw them in the tubs and leave them alone, when I come back about an hour later 95% of them will eat.

Hope this helps you.
