I've fed my common snapper tadpoles and frogs of according size but they are local species(green, bullfrogs, etc.) I know that they eat those in nature so I am not too worried about that. I honestly don't know about the clawed frog, I've had them as pets as I think that as long as they don't have poisons within them or anything like that, I don't see a problem. Some, might not like the idea of feeding their pet to the turtle, but that's their opinion.
Whenever the "frogs and toads as food" question comes up on the garter snake forum, someone eventually chimes in that they tend to be "loaded with parasites" ...I don't know how applicable this is here, but I thought I'd mention it. Yes, I know that these items are probably eaten in the wild. But that involves a "bigger" biosystem where an animal is not constantly exposed to its own waste, etc. Duffy
