T-shirt loving conda

Macroclemys Jul 26, 2004 08:24 PM

I recently placed a shirt that i had worn into my condas tank to get her used to my smell. I wore the shirt just for this reason. It was a tip that dfr gave me to try. Well ever since placing it in her tank that seems to be where she spends most of her time and sleeps in it at night like it is a security blanket. It's cool. Just thought I'd share this with everyone. have a great evening. Steven a.k.a. Macroclemys, Physignathus, CrownedOne

` My big male Yellow grew up in my shirt pocket, 8 hours a day in a pet store, for his first year. He'd sleep there, wake up, poke his head out, and scare the Hell out of old crone buying a guppy.
` It's been years since he would fit, but even now, he often sticks his head in my shirt pocket, and tries like crazy to get in. It's really funny to watch, he can't understand why he can't get in, and really works at it. He has torn several pockets off shirts doing this.
` He will get under a shirt, and rip it off of you. So, I always warn any females wanting to hold him that he might give everybody a free show.
