Chameleon and silkworm help

FisherCham20 Jul 27, 2004 09:12 AM

I'm trying to switch from crickets to silkworms so I bought a bunch of silkworms. They're doing wonderful, growing well, ect. The problem is that my chameleon doesn't seem to like them very well. I'll put a few in, stick them on some branches, he'll look at them, think about eating them, and then turn away. He seems to only want crickets. Is there anything I can do to get him to eat the silkworms or make them more inviting for him to eat? He will eat them every now and then. I thought chameleons were supposed to like silkworms more than crickets? lol Thanks!!!

My cham is the same way. He does not seem to care for silkworms or butter worms.
