Belly Checks on Anerys

qime Jul 27, 2004 09:19 AM

I have one anery that has a checkered belly. I just got another anery motley a couple of days ago and his belly is perfect white. It this a result of him being motley? Does it denote any kind of genetic history for either of the snakes? Or does it not mean anything at all? I'm just curious - the genetics are fascinating to me. Thanks all!

I believe that motley, striped, and bloodred all result in a belly with no checkers.
