Owning an indigo in Texas

mrrooster2u Jul 27, 2004 10:50 AM

I live in Texas and was wondering if I can own an Eastern indigo snake legally, since I can't own a Texas indigo without breaking the law... Is there any way that I can legally do this? Do I need a permit? Any info would be appreciated...
Thanks,
Eric

To the best of my knowledge, you CAN own an eastern indigo in Texas but, you CANNOT own a texas indigo.
Visit indigosnakes.com for a list of breeders & other good info.
