I live in the Pacific Northwest and there isn't a large demand for reptiles out here so we don't get much variety in the colors of leos avalable,even the large chain pet stores only ever have normal and albinos.So when I was at petco the other day for supplies and "maybe" an albino leo I was very surprised to find a high yellow aberrant baby,of course I bought him on the spot.I can't wait to see his adult coloration,he has quite alot of orange in his tail too so I am hoping for a carrot tail (crosses fingers).He is only 3 inches long so I am assuming he isn't very old?

yeah i am in the northwest also i see this at petco sometimes. once they had a patternless mixed in with the others and i also got a high yellow that was mixed in with the others. the funny thing is there was a tank right next to it with high yellow babies for 40 i got mine for 20

it seems alot of people are finding great finds at petco (including me)and the seem to be healthy(iv had mine for 1 year and 1/2). by the way to answer your question if its only 3 inches long then it is a baby.

Yeah, I love the PetCo by my house, lol. That's where I found Ron and my newest leo, Tango. Ron is a HT and some people have even told me she's considered an F1 Redstripe. The second one I found was a day old and the most vibrant orange I have ever seen, his/her bands are already fading away at 4 days old now. I'll post some updated pics soon once my camera is hooked up. Take care.
