Cricket Maintenance

I have a question about the crickets that i feed to my leo. Is there any way to have crickets without cleaning the cage every day?

I clean out the cage after i run out of crickets. I buy 1 dollar of crickets a week and keep them with pieces of egg carton and toilet paper rolls to hide in so you can dump them out. On the day i need more crickets i wash out the cage(and by the way i use a plastic critter keeper) so i have no problems. Hope this helps.

OMG a dollar worth of crickets.... god I wish.

I'm currently ordering 1000 or 2000 crickets WEEKLY (Mainly for my bearded dragons... but I have some leos that refuse to eat worms), as well as 1000 or 2000 Mealworms, occasionally some giant mealworms, and occasionally some wax worms. I just got done ordering 5000 mealies so I can start my own colony and see if I can cut down on the $100 of food I have to buy every month. I know I'm operating at a loss, but it's ok. I love having my little guys!

I clean my cricket container once a week (when I run out). Some hot water, a little disinfectant, and some srcubbing. And for the record... You CANNOT get rid of the smell.
