I was thinking about buying another baby ball python so I decided to go to the local pet store. There was one there I thought was really nice looking but I still can't see paying 79.99 for a baby ball python! So I didn't do it. I had a really hard time getting a good photo since the snake woulod not stay still and it was with my camera phone.

wow that looks great, it's a bad picture, but it almost looks like a pastel.

It is a bad pic but I had just picked up that pastel from Mark Petros and had stopped by a petco on my way home to grab a some pointless things. I thought it would be funny to make the post but nobodu commented on it but you so I will just let that joke die. Here is a slightly better shot but it is still with a camera phone. I think the snake looks great.

It does look like "it could be a pastel" and most would have said so, if you had posted that you bought it. Having said you did not buy it, some probably wished they new where you lived and went to all surrounding Petcos. Having said all that ... its not a good thing when someone says that "it could be a pastel" or "it looks like a pastel" that ONLY means that they think its a nice normal. Hope you got it cheap because many are selling below average pastels rather cheap. Very few are posting good looking pastels and most of them are smart enough to sell at higher price based on looks.

I hate to even dignify that response by following it up but I guess it just got the best of me. As far as the joke. I remember seeing a while back "is my snake a morph" and having the pied shown at an angle where the white could not be seen. I thought it was very funny and a lot of people went for it until the guy followed up. It had me going a little and I felt a bit dumb after. I figured a pastel in the petstore might work and I thought maybe some people would catch it. As far as "I hope you got it cheap" and the less than average pastel. I am quite offended at that statement. I do wish I had a better camera than the one on my cell phone but I have seen many pastel ball pythons and I assure you I am very happy with my purchase. I do not know if you know Mark Petros but he advertizes things for what they are...pastel siblings are nice normals and nice normals are nice normals. I respect that and I hope my poor cell phone does not affect the integrity of his or my animals for a light joke. Here is another bad picture for the heck of it. This is a reason I like to hang out in the anaconda forum...I don't think "I hope you got it cheap" has ever been stated in there.

There was...I tried to find a loop hole in KS so I deleated them in my full album to add new pics...didnt work. I will post some with a digital camera not my phone just to "prove" its pastelness lol. I dont know why I let that get to me but oh well. I just need to figure out how to make the file sizes from the camera smaller.
