Ordering frozen mice?

justinmatthew Jul 27, 2004 04:40 PM

I would like to order frozen because the price of buying at my local pet store is very high and I haven't been able to get to a show for sometime. Where is a good place for value to order from? Also how does the process work with them obviously being a hazard to melt? Thanks in advance.

I have used Rodent Pro many times with NO problems. They include dry ice so you don't have to worry about them thawing out although it really doesn't matter much if they do. Anyways good luck,

Thanks for the info, but I was under the impression that you should never refreeze a mouse that has thawed. Thank you.

Never had or hear of anyone haveing problems with refrozen rodents. Although they do seem to fall apart and can get messy. From what I hear it's all about what the keeper cares about.

I buy mine from Amercian Rodent Supply (www.americanrodent.com). The mice/rats are HIGH quality. I NEVER re-freeze rodents, its just plain gross. If you have some nice animals, why feed them gross food???
