Checked in on the ornate box turtle eggs today!

Today I checked in on the 5 box turtle eggs today.About 0ne month ago (last post) our female box finished laying her eggs. I burried her eggs three inches deep in potting soil put a heat emmitter above them and called it a day.Well today I uncovered them and checked one of them out under a light I noticed red viens going throughout the egg so they seem to be doing nicely.I would think by now they would be stinking if they were infertile. What do you think?

Sounds like they're developing well. Be very careful not to disturb them, or move or roll them: watch them carefully at about 60 days (from the date they were layed).
I have a clutch of four that should start hatching any day now.
good luck
Stephanie
