HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

greenbum Jul 27, 2004 06:54 PM

Someone keeps buying my neices and nephew pets. This time it's a lizard. Theyre parents dont take care of them well enough and you know how kids are.

Tonight they are at my house and they brought their new tiny cheapo sotore lizard. I'm know it's nothing exoctic but that doesnt mean it doesnt deserve proper care.

First, I dont know what kind it is. I believe it is some type of chameleon as I think Ive seen this type change color before (green-brown). It is thinner than my pinky finger the tail is longer than my body and very thin. Terminates with a sharp point. At the moment it is very green with a belly lighter than the dorsal side. Almost a green shade of white.

Second can anyone refer me to the proper care for this little fellow?

Thanks for any help.

Mike

Sounds like an Anole.

Yup... Sounds like an anole. They're not much like chameleons except for the color change. The schools where I live hand them out free to kids. They're not too complex, just try to set up a little slice of Florida for them and feed them crickets with reptile dust on them. And don't pick them up by the tail...
