At that size, or up to a year I use RepCal Calcium, the plain one and the one with D/3 alternating daily. Then on Sunday I don't use any Cal. but use the Herptivite. When they are a year, you can cut the Cal. down to 2-3times a week.

Now, that can change with different lighting situations. I wouldn't give so much D3 if they are given daily natural Sunlight. (direct, not through a window) Also if you use Merc. Vap. bulbs, I would not use quite as much D3, but don't completely take it away.

Also, offer more Cal. to a breeding female.

hey there Joel R I haven't seen the Cal without D3 where do they carry that stuff? I have the one with D# and the Herpavite. My setup is a 20gal for now till I finish a new enclosure for my BP then they will go into the 40gal breeder. I have water dish food dish, A grape vine jungle gym, rock setup on the hot spot and reptile carpet for substrate. then for lighting I have a 8.0 uvb flouresent on one side with a basking light on the other above the rocks. I also have a Accurite to monitore the temps. tell me what you all think!
Thanks Jay

Sounds great. If you have any available, try adding another fluorescent. Not UVB but just a white bulb. I like Daylight Deluxe from HomeDepot. I guarantee you will see some improvement in either or, color, appetite, & activity. They love light.

Check Reptile Supply for the Cal without D3. They also have great prices on just about everything, including bulk RepCal pellets.

Got any pics yet?
