he knows he's cool
The first time I took one outside a bird flew over head and my boy freeked out with his mouth open, and body flattened out. Scared me half to death
never seen him do that before.
Oh yeah, he's super cool
My boy hates his leash. So I don't put it on him. He usually sits on the ground like a lump and soaks up some rays, so I don't worry about him running away. Now my other two... Adykt my german giant monster has run away exactly 6 times within a 10 minute period of basking. She's going on a leash next time.

Coop pic. How is that leash set up? Been trying to figure out a way to make one but I really don't think I can get my bearded dragon to sit still long enough to put his arms into a leather patch with holes cut in for his forearms..like the one design I found at BorderView bearded dragons.
It's a comfort leash made by T-Rex. I picked it up at Petco. Had to modify the arm holes a bit (make them bigger) but it works. It was a trying time at first getting it on him, and he still scratches at it once in awhile, but he is slowly getting used to it. I wouldn't take him outside without it. I am thinking of just making my own when he outgrows this one though. It cost about $10, and for that I think I can get the materials and make a better one. But it works for now.
