disease transmission = two vet bills and/or losing both snakes as opposed to one

stressing eachother = vet bills or losing at least one

and how can you monitor feces when you won't know which pile belongs to who?

babies stress enough without another one in the same enclosure. your looking at feeding issues, diseases,if one has mites they'll transfer them to the other, etc.

You cant go wrong with adding an adult kingsnake in with them.I find kingsnakes to be great guardians.

Haven't we warned you about tampering with the structure of a chaotic system?

I keep my together, if there opposite sex then You might get babys. When its feeding day I would separate them for about 10 min. after they eat.

We just recently got a hatchling reverse okeetee and it is living with our snow. The hatchling is about 9 inches long while our snow is about 16 inches and we've had no problems. We feed them separately and keep them apart for about 1/2 hour before returning them to their cage. They are quite the buddies and share the same hide, the new one refuses to be alone I guess! LOL We are close with our local reptile store, and there current vet who checks on them frequently, and we feel we are given expert advice every time. And we are very pleased with each and every snake and supplies we get from them.
