Feeding leopards

Turt-Liz-Wiz Jul 28, 2004 07:09 AM

Can u feed leopards earthworms? All they have here are crix, mealies, earthworms, fish, feeder frogs, mice, and birds (sparrows, etc). They dont have zophobas, supers, or waxies.

You can mail order the waxworms and superworms (lllreptile.com, reptiledirect.com, ect).

I have never bowl-fed my leo. I pinch the mealworms head and put it in front of the lizard like the guy above does. Also watch to make sure he is eating and take out the ones he doesnt eat. They will grow up to beetles without much nutritional value cuz they eat practically nothing in the cage. And i pinch off the crickets jumping legs so my leo can catch them.
