hope this helps...im looking into cobras...Pennsylvania:

Native Venomous: Rattle Snake Hunter's Permit required for Timber Rattlesnake...possession limit is 1 specimen.

Exotic Venomous: No permit required

Protected Native Venomous: Permit required

Massasauga (Sistrurus catenatus)

It is illegal to own venomous reptiles in Philadelphia.

i just got off the phone with chris urban. he told me that it is not illegal to sell or own hots in phila. the only think you need a permit for is the timber rattle snake. he gave me a url but it doesnt work so i have to call him later. i will repost with the correct info at a later date.

I would double check. I think he is wrong, unless they changed the law, and that is highly unlikley.
