Anyone in New England area looking to adopt a cwd???

I work in a local pet store, and recently someone dropped off yet another very thin water dragon. I'm not sure if it's a male or a female but it's missing some toes on the back feet and the tail is shorter than it should be...looks to me like a shed that didn't get taken care of properly. The person that dropped it off claimed that it had mouth rot and MBD but that they got it under control which is why it is so thin. I have no evidence for this but I think this person was trying to make it sound like she knew what she was talking about. I personally think she just didn't want it anymore. Also she said she soaked it in Gatorade to try to get electrolytes into it's body so the under side of the poor thing is red. I am going to take it home and try to fatten it up some but I really don't have room to keep another one...I have already rescued 2. If there is anyone out there who is interested please let me know. There is a girl that works in my store that is interested but I don't think she is knowledgeable enough to take on a sick water dragon. So if there is anyone in the cwd world that can take on one more that would be wonderful!!!

Let me know,
Annette

Obviously, she had NO freaking clue what she was doing? Gatorade? The sugar and carbs in that could kill a wd. If was in the NE area, I would help out...but since I'm in TX...there's nothing I could really do. Best of Luck
