Sav not growing

SPJ01 Jul 28, 2004 12:39 PM

I currently have 2 savs.
Both were purchased at the same time and at the same size.
One has double in size over the past month but the other has shown no growth whatsoever.
Both greedily eat dusted crickets and f/t pinkies.
What is going on here?
They are housed in seperate cages with identical temps, hides, substrate, etc.
The one that is growing well is grey colored with bright spots. The one not growing is a brown color with dull spots but lots of yellow on the throat and front legs.
Is the growth difference because they may have been collected from different locales (might explain the color difference) or is it possible that the brown one has a parasites and should be treated?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Every monitor is an individual and some grow faster than others. The way I see it, as long as the monitor is healthy and eating, there is no need to really worry about it.
