The time will come when little Manny will need a bigger, better enclosure. As of right now, in his little aquarium-type thing, he is heated by a heatlamp on top of the cage. However, this obviously won't be effective for a larger cage. Just moving the light from one side of the cage to the other causes the tempurature on that side of the cage to drop at least ten degrees (often times more.)I haven't even the slightest idea what sort of methods I should use for heating the really big cages. I also noticed that a lot of cages are really open (like, the walls are mesh or the top is just open). How do you go about regulating heat and humidity in the kind of set up?
All help is appreciated, as usual. Thanks!
