Passport - We were all too busy drooling for the next "fresh meat" post.
Those snakes are very pretty. You bought them right... These are not the ones you hatched(?)
Have your hatchlings fed yet?

The pics show two that I purchased last weekend. Out of the ones I hatched out only 4 have eaten. That leaves 6 that are holding out for filet mignon. The ones I purchased, however, are little chow hounds. This weekend I'll try live pinks again. How do folks do it when they are feeding dozens or hundreds of stubborn babies? Just my 13 take me a full hour. Whew!
My Easterns (hatched ono 6/19) could care less about eating.
They all weigh 7 to 9 grams now. I bought a syringe with a 4" stainless steel ball tipped needle from Bean Farm last week and I am going to do what I did with my 5 OBX babies last year - pinky pump them until they reach 12 grams or so and then start offering them food again.
I actually use Gerber chicken baby food mixed with reptile vitamins and calcium. I start with 1 ml every other day and then work up to 2 ml.
Eventually, with the OBX Kings, what I did was to force feed them for 2 weeks (every other day), starve them for 10 days, and then offer them pinks (brained, live, scented, etc - you know the drill).
One by one they all took and they all started eating on their own by November (I got them in early August). It was worth every bit of frustration because I had a 100% success rate. We will see if I am as lucky with my Easterns. I am keeping them all - except the 1.1 pair the T.D. is getting.
Good luck - and I hope this helps put it in perspective: at least 4 of your's have eaten already!
