Cleaning glass in tank

sillyjackson Jul 28, 2004 07:23 PM

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the white stains that get build up on the glass of my terrarium. The white stains are from dried up water from mistings. Any pointers? I can't seem to get it out. Thanks!

you can try "lime away" or "CLR" or any of the other stain removers made for that BUT do not put your animal back in until the smell is gone. the fumes can be deadly. it may take a few days fir the fumes to clear.

A micro fiber cloth wrung out with warrm water will take out some but not all so you can use that inthe mean time and vinegar will remove them if they soak about a week rinse well and dry in the sun. But you need a spare tank for that.
