Hey, no one has responded to this because its needs more info.

How old is he?
Where is he from?
What does he eat, insects/greens?
What kind of lighting does he have? What UVB?
What is the basking temp?
What supplements?
What substrate?

Thanks for your concern and help!
How old is he?

Don't really know, I would imagine they were born early this season. She is about 5 inches including tail.
Where is he from?
Bought from pet store not sure of orgin.
What does he eat, insects/greens?
Mixed greens with crickets.
What kind of lighting does he have? What UVB?
UVB
What is the basking temp?
There is a heat lamp and heat strip under the tank. I don't have a temp gun but both are active so I don't think temp is a problem and both have great appetites
What supplements?
No supps as of yet but the crickets are fed leaf greens, fruit and cereal as well as given gut load cricket drink with calcium.
What substrate?
Play ground sand

Thanks for any info!

would be a good thing to do if there is doubt.

I would check for swollen joints near the problem area.. it may be a sign of MBD (metabolic bone diesase). If that's the case, he will need treatment and UVB/Sun to help reverse the damaged effects.

Check for bites... crix can nibble/chew on dragons and cause sores or wounds.

Sleeping on the bottom of the cage is normal. If the dragon cannot walk on it's foot, that is not normal. It's possible he hurt it while jumping or falling off something.. in which case a vet would be good to examine the dragon.

Hope he's doing better for you soon.

Thanks for the ideas Brandon. I figured maybe she got here foot caughtin the drift wood while jumping or chasing crickets. The vet was closed today. My friend will be back into town tomorrow I will tell him to take her.

Sure, no problem. That's definitely possible.. beardies do some crazy things which can cause injury... i advise the vet bc dragons are great at hiding/masking their injuries until it's too late to do anything about them... so when a problem IS spotted it's important to get it corrected asap.

Let us know how she's doing and when she's feeling better.

Well my friend was not willing to take her to the vet due to the expense vs cost of lizard. Don't worry I gave him the lecture on responsible pet ownership ( he means well). Good thing is she is my lizard now. Her foot appears to be healing well. The foot is not curled anymore and she appears to be walking on it fairly normal. It is not perfect but appear to be on its way to a full recovery. I put it up to the sun and could see some blood (like a bruise). Maybe the other Beardie bit her foot. Well I would have to say she got lucky because I got her another Beardie and will be converting my Burmese Python's cage into a luxury Bearded Dragon mansion.
