Can my gecko go outside?? I used to sit my chameleon outside cage and all in the sun. Can you do this with the gecko?? Or can I just take her outside in my hand just for something different? I was just curious!!

I took mine out once, my older female and she freaked out
she did NOT want to touch the grass, i would put her down and somehow she'd book it up my arm or up my leg and refuse to touch grass eheheh
sorry thought id share a story, they can go outside though
Well leopard geckos are nocturnal and sunshine isn't really important to thier health. I'm not sure if the leo would really appreciate it or wish you would turn off that awful bright light.
Just my two cents.
Take it out,but do it in the early evening or morning, when the sun is not as strong.
I guess that is an option, my cham loved being outside he would turn bright green. Maybe I will try taking her out this evening as the sun goes down!!
My leopard gecko at times really enjoys going outside, but i would definitely not leave the cage out. She likes to go sit in the sun for short times but a lot of times something she sees or hears something that scares her so short times at first anyways so they can get used to it.
